It's been a very busy,
wet spring in Oregon and plans are in full swing for Lil to become a mom again. I hope to be able to breed her within
the next month. We're just waiting for Mother Nature to do her stuff. . El Dorado's Bijou was amazing in the ring at the AKC show in Walla Walla WA on 4-28-2012 but taking
Best of Breed, Best of Winners over 19 other Leonbergers and earned her AKC Championship. I am so proud of her and her
owner-handler Deb. . We just returned from the Leonberger Club of America National Show.
I am so very please to annouce that all of the puppies from my litters received place ribbons in the show. El Dorado's Cherokee received a HUGE beautiful
ribbon for Best Spay/Neuter in the LCA club show
El Dorado's Crescendo (Chuck) took first place in the AKC show in Amateur Owner Handler group El Dorado's Diamond Breeze (Aira) received 4rd Place in the AKC show in 6-9
month Youth Girls El
Dorado's Diamonds to Emeralds (Eme) received 4rd place in 6-9 month Youth Girls in the Puppy Sweeps
competition and earned enough to buy 1/2 a tank of gas for
the trip home. She also earned 4th place
in the 6-9 month Youth Girls in the LCA club show. . On
a side note: Aira and Eme (sisters) provided a LOT of entertainment with their antics in the show ring. . Other news: Apache is now an AKC Champion by earning her last 2 points needed in Portland in January 2012. We're now working on her Grand Championship. . Desperado's Bronco Bill (half brother to both Apache and Lil) completed in the Westminster Kennel Club Show in new York this year. He looked amazing as did his owner Lori Taft (breeder of Apache and Lil). What an amazing honor to receive the invitation and be able to participate. .
