Her beginning show career started with taking 1st place in the 6-9 month bitch class on March 16, 2008.   Her entry in the LCNW show on August 16, 2008 earned her 1st place in the 9-12 month bitch class and also winning Best Youth Bitch.   She earned Best Youth Bitch at the Northern California Leonberger Club specialty on October 25, 2008.

She continues to excel in her obedience training and we're entered our first rally fun match at the NCLC show (10/5/08) and scored an 89 (10 points which were taken off due to handler error - sigh). 

At the Leonberger Club of the Northwest regional show on March 14, 2009, Lil earned her first Novice Rally leg.  She had a lot of fun and got some great laughs from the crowd with her antics.   

She loves to work and to please and is very easy to train.  We passed our dog/handler evaluation with Delta Society with flying colors - only having one point taken off the evaluation for me having to ask her to sit twice.  Her Therapy Dog certification is now offical and we are in the process of setting up an employee therapy program at work.  We feel that employee's need Leo contact as much as patients do!

We had a great trip to the 2009 AKC/LCA National Specialty in Oconomowoc WI.  Our poor 18 year old Toyota truck made the journey just fine. 

Lil took 1st place in Novice Bitch in both the AKC show on 4/3/09 and in the LCA show under the prestigeous European Leonberger judge, Petra Junehall on 4/4/09 who also gave her an excellent rating.  Wahoo - way to go Lil!

At our regional LCA show in Auburn WA Aug 15-16, 2009 Lil earned her 2nd Novice Rally leg.  She also took Novice Bitch on both days along with Reserve Winners Bitch on Sunday.
